Mexican Dark Chocolate Biscotti
For that festive look on a pastry tray or with coffee, sprinkle the biscotti before baking with pearl sugar.
1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa
1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder
¼ teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
Combine dry ingredients and set aside
¼ cup butter (softened)
½ cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons of milk
In mixer beat butter and sugar till light. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each. Add vanilla. Stir. Remove bowl from mixer and with a spoon stir in half of the flour mixture. Stir in milk. Add remaining flour and combine well.
